The Community Task Force

A collective voice shaping Sakala’s future.

The Community Task Force is an open, participatory circle where anyone in the Sakala community can share their perspectives, ideas, and feedback. This group helps us stay connected to what’s working, what’s not, and what’s emerging.

There are TWO ways to Participate:

 1. Open Circle (Everyone welcome)

All Sakala community members are invited to join open meetings, share feedback, and participate in surveys. These gatherings are spaces for dialogue, reflection, and co-creation. No application required.

2. Core Task Force Members (Application required)

A smaller, year-long circle of dedicated members who serve as anchors for community input.

Core members:

  • Participate consistently in monthly meetings (may miss up to two per year)

  • Help gather and reflect community perspective

  • Offer input on Sakala’s evolving needs and priorities

  • Collaborate on special projects or initiatives

  • Elect and support one representative to serve on the Stewardship Council — ensuring that community voices are always part of the decision-making table
