These monthly grief circles at Sakala Community are a compassionate space to hold your grief in the embrace of community.
On November 15, join Alexandra Chamizo of Unveil with Lex for a transformative somatic healing circle.In this month’s grief circle, we will honor the sacred movement of sorrow — not as something to fix, but as something to flow. Through the gentle tremors of Tension & Trauma Release (TRE), we invite what has been held and hardened within to begin softening, shaking, and returning to motion.
Through this season of transformation we will work with our bodies to allow any supressed or stagnant energies to be expressed, to transform our grief into mourning. We will integrate with a water prayer ritual to remember the fluidity of life after loss.
